Cha Ma Nao is a refreshing Thai iced tea made with Thai tea mix, sugar, lime juice, and water, perfect for summer hangouts.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups water, separated
  • 1 cup Thai Tea Mix https://amzn.to/45uxuim
  • ⅔-3/4 cup sugar to taste
  • cup fresh lime juice to taste, roughly 5 limes

Instructions
 

  • Boil 4 cups of water in a small pot.
  • Once the water has boiled, turn off the heat and remove the pot from the heat.
  • Add in the 1 cup Thai tea mix in a tea sock or directly into the water.
  • Let it steep for 4-5 minutes.
  • Once steeped, strain the tea into a pitcher.
  • Add ⅔-3/4 cup sugar to taste to the hot tea and stir to dissolve.
  • Then add 4 cups of cold water and ⅔ cup lime juice, stir well.
  • Pour over a cup full of ice and enjoy!

Notes

For a single glass, use 2 tablespoon of Thai tea mix, 1 cup hot water, 3 teaspoon sugar, and juice of 1 lime. Can substitute black tea for Thai tea, sugar for coconut sugar or agave, and lime for lemon.
