Equipment

  • stand mixer
  • 9x13 Baking Pan
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 1.25 cups warm water
  • 0.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
  • 0.33 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder more or less to taste
  • 0.25 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper, or lightly grease.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow to proof for approximately 2-5 minutes.
  • Add in oil, salt, and flour (1 cup at a time). Mix with a stand mixer until combined. Let your stand mixer knead the dough for about 4 minutes.
  • Spray your hands with baking spray and shape dough into 15 individual balls.
  • Place dough in a prepared 9×13 baking dish and cover with a dish towel.
  • Preheat oven to 375 F and place pan on top of oven and let the dough rise while your oven is preheating.
  • In a small bowl combine garlic powder, cheese, and parsley.
  • Brush raised rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, cheese, and parsley mixture.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the top of the rolls are golden brown.

Notes

Adding too much flour will make the rolls dense. Use just enough flour to form the dough into balls.
