Ingredients
  

Jalapeño Poppers

  • 10 pieces jalapeño peppers halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • to taste candy eyeballs or small pieces of black olives for eyes

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into thin strips.
  • Wrap the strips around each stuffed jalapeño to resemble a mummy, leaving a small space for the eyes.
  • Place the jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
  • Add candy eyeballs or small pieces of black olives to create eyes.
  • Serve warm.
