Bread and Toppings

  • 1 loaf Baguette or Italian Bread sliced into 1-2 cm slices
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil divided
  • 1-2 cloves Garlic peeled
  • 2-3 cups Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup Red Onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup Fresh Basil chopped or torn
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • Kosher Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Flaky Sea Salt for garnish
  • Balsamic Glaze for garnish
  • Extra Olive Oil for drizzling
  • Additional Fresh Basil for garnish
  • 1 ball Fresh Burrata

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lightly rub the slices of bread with olive oil. Grill or toast, then rub each side with a garlic clove.
  • In a bowl, mix together the cherry tomatoes, red onion, basil, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Arrange the grilled bread slices on a plate and add burrata on top of each slice.
  • Top with the tomato mixture, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Add flaky salt and fresh basil.
