  • 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs mixed with Dijon mustard in another, and the crushed pretzels in a third bowl.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally coat in the crushed pretzels.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until heated through.
  • Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste and remove from heat.
  • Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
